MOMMY’S SUMMER VACATION!

I have no idea how big my child is (other than huge) because we’re not going to the doctor again until summer, so that when the 102 degree fevers spike again, I won’t have to take another sick day (I sort of used that one up on the Royal Wedding…).  The fact that size 3 diapers seem really small makes me think we’re pushing 22 or so pounds.  Braeson wants to crawl more than almost anything in the world.  His desire to grab and pet any of the animals is slightly ahead in his immediate goals, which only serves to further motivate the crawling… endless cycle, and I bet we have a crawler within two weeks.  It’ll be an interesting summer, that’s for sure!

Next year will prove to be a new challenge, which I really need, as the plan right now is that I won’t be yearbook sponsor, but instead will teach Freshman English… no more 18 year olds… I’m jumping down to the 14 year olds! This could be the best or the worst decision I ever made.  I suppose that time will only tell. Regardless, it at least gives me some new books to read and some new plans to make, which I’ve been craving for a couple of years now.

My goal this summer is to actually update this blog.  Right now it’s just too much with work and the baby and trying to keep my house semi-presentable.  I have lofty goals for the summer… we’ll see what I actually get accomplished!
