When you’re about to get a bath, you ride up the stairs on your daddy’s shoulders, kicking and squealing, and snorting as you laugh.
You fake cough every time you hear someone else cough, every time you take a drink of water, or really any time you want someone to pay attention. At the beach, you spent about 10 minutes on the dolphin tour making everyone else on the boat laugh as you drank water and then coughed, and then looked around for attention.
You get so, so, so excited to see Mim. Even if you just saw her the day before.
When you crawl after me, whimpering because I’m not holding you, my heart breaks a little, even though I can’t hold you 24/7.
I hate it when you cry (goes back to the early days when that’s all you did) and I hate that I’m going to say this, but when you’re REALLY crying, your face gets all scrunched up and you’re so adorable. And even though you’re a crawling tornado of a boy most of the time, that face reminds me that you’re actually still my little bitty baby.
